Completed as part of the second-semester junior-level Design Language Project in Spring 2023. The project challenges students to think of design as a strategic tool, using research to gather insights on behaviors, market landscape, trends & technologies and current brand assets. The team is charged with rethinking an existing brand and developing a new product line. They collectively research and define brand guidelines, while individuals are each responsible for a product. This project was completed over 8 weeks. The US Headquarters of Audio-Technica is based in Northeast Ohio. We reached out to them to participate in the final review, but they expressed intellectual property concerns (would they see something they might want to make).
