Completed as part of the first-semester junior-level Sustainability Project in Fall 2024. The project requires students to consider product life-cycle in their design. The student identifies an existing product that is not design with sustainability in mind, understands the purpose/need and rethinks how to deliver a more sustainable alternative. The student conducts in-depth research, broadly explores ideas and completes a final design that considers environmental impact and production. This project was completed over 7 weeks. Josh's prototype included a soap vessel that was actually made of soap.
