Completed as part of the second-semester junior-level Sponsored Project in Spring 2020. The topic quickly shifted from a focus on pediatric hospitalization to package delivery (by STEP2) because we quickly lost access to University Hospital Staff and there was a growing demand to secure package delivery. The project required students to balance their own ideas and decision-making with sponsor goals and recommendations. The student conducts in-depth research, broadly explores ideas and completes a final design that related an observed problem with the sponsors business. This project was completed over 7 weeks. This project was interrupted/influenced by the pandemic and the rapid shift to virtual learning.
