CIA Teaching:
3rd Year ID Studio (3cr - FA), 4th Year ID Studio (6cr - FA), Ceramic Design (3cr FA), 3rd Year ID Studio (3cr - SP), 4th Year ID Studio (6cr - SP).
Spoke at the Wednesday CIA artists lecture series - presented a vision of a local/grassroots version of IKEA.
Held the Design Language Project presentation at CWRU/WSOM to promote collaboration.
Worked with Ceramics Faculty to create a Ceramic Design collaborative course.
CIA Service:
Planned the Design Studio clean-up and set-up.
Begin working with the Chair of TIME (Jurgen Faust) on the Future Center Proposal. Future would be the funded project office for CIA and aligned with the masters program professional partnership program.
Meet with Cleveland Clinic Innovations, began collaborative relationship.
Hired additional faculty with non-CIA background and international perspective.
Developed an ID budget planning & tracking system.
Requested that Automotive Design Courses fulfill open studio electives (at the time, these courses did not fulfill any degree requirements - approved.
Member of Graphic Design Curriculum Committee, co-planner of a Design Summit that included James Victore, Paula Scher & Steven Heller.
Invited Brian Matt of Altitude and Duane Smith of Vessel to speak at CIA.
Initiated discussion for Design Management partnership with CWRU/WSOM.
Engaged Rubbermaid, which sponsored a funded project.
Invited to speak at the Weatherhead School of Management intrapreneurship course.
Worked with Institutional Advancement, Chrysler and Ford to restructure scholarship money to better meet the diversity objectives.
Prepared a piece for Innovation Magazine Education Issue that highlighted CIA.
Coordinated development of a CIA IP policy.
Participated in Open Houses/Accepted Student Events.
Modified Auto Show Events to include a broader range of speakers.
